Dealer Information for the Traders Village in Houston

If you're starting a new business, having a garage sale, looking for another outlet for an existing business, or people with hobbies that want to turn into income, Traders Village is for you! If you're an existing flea market dealer or a business wanting to move closeout merchandise without having to tie-up costly retail space, Traders Village is also the place for you. In other words, anyone with an idea, a product or creation who wants exposure to a large number of potential customers without high overhead and related expenses of most retail spaces. To get a reserved space, call the office starting Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. Your payment for the weekend is due by Thursday noon and can be renewed on Sunday before 6:00 p.m.

LOCKED SPACE:
$258.00 per month
$313.00 per month for the corner

OPEN & COVERED RESERVED SPACES:
$165.00 per month
$44.00 per weekend
$1.00 reservation fee

OPEN & COVERED RESERVED SPACES ON CORNER:
$189.00 per month
$49.00 per weekend
$1.00 reservation fee

OPEN NON-RESERVED SPACES:
$22.00 per day
Friday Lottery:

Spaces for Saturday only or for Saturday and Sunday can be purchased at the lottery. You would need to be at the Traders Village office by 6:45 a.m. to sign in and pay for the space(s) ($22.00 per day/space).

Sizes of the Selling Spaces:
Open lots are approximately 14' wide by 25' deep. Enclosed buildings are approximately 14' wide by 20' deep with a 5' overhang and an 8' high by 10' wide roll-up door.

Tables for rent:
Yes, $5.00 per table, per day. They are 8' long by 30" wide.

What items can be sold?
Dealers can sell anything that does not violate county, state or federal laws.
Restrictions are as follows:*
   1. Food concessions (Traders Village operates food concessions).
   2. Any merchandise, as defined by Traders Village, that is not characteristic of a wholesome family environment.
   3. No distribution of religious or political materials.
   4. Traders Village prohibits the sale, display or distribution of merchandise bearing counterfeit trademarks or that infringe on copyrighted designs or materials.
   5. Sale of fireworks is prohibited. No fireworks may be sold or stored at Traders Village according to the Texas Department of Insurance - State Fire Marshall's Office. This includes "Pop Pops", "Snaps", or any other explosive devices. Anyone in violation of this rule may be subject to arrest or seizure of merchandise.
   6. The sale of firearms and ammunition is strictly prohibited.
   7. The sale of any pornography is strictly prohibited.
